Then we discovered almost everyone lives with the same chaos.
It started with our own paperwork. Documents lived everywhere — folders on a NAS, email attachments, photos on a phone, files forwarded on WhatsApp. With enough effort we could usually find a document. What we couldn't find was its story: why it existed, what happened before and after it, and what was still pending.
So we built a document manager — with search that understands meaning, AI that reads and summarises, and automation that takes care of the routine. It helped. But the files were still just files.
A document means very little on its own. Its value is in its context.
A receipt is just a PDF — until you know it's the token payment in the purchase of Plot #42, two weeks before the registry. An order sheet is just a scan — until you see it's the hearing where the case changed direction. A vaccination card is just a photo — until it's one entry in a child's health history, with the next dose due in October.
That idea became PowerTrail: every case, deal, client or life event as a timeline of events, where each event carries its notes, its documents and its next reminder — and where the people involved can follow along.
As we talked about it with others, we kept hearing the same thing. CAs collecting documents over WhatsApp every filing season. Real estate agents chasing papers before a registration. Lawyers answering the same status calls. Families searching for a warranty card or a medical report at exactly the wrong moment. Different words, same problem.
Contuitive is our answer: a private, context-aware and audit-aware information system with AI built in — running on a private server that's yours alone — in your office or in the cloud.
The principles behind every decision we make.
Keeping a file is easy. Keeping it with its story is what makes it useful years later.
Every customer gets a server of their own — in their office or a dedicated cloud instance — never a shared database. We built it that way on purpose.
AI reads, suggests and extracts. A person confirms anything that matters.
Who uploaded, changed, shared or viewed what — recorded, so trust never depends on memory.
A lawyer opens a case; a dealer opens a deal. Software should adapt to people, not the other way round.
Professionals and their clients should look at the same trail — not trade versions over chat.
We're building Contuitive together with a small group of founding customers. If this story sounds like your desk, we'd love to hear from you.
